I became a certified .b mindfulness teacher because mindfulness is a powerful and important tool. The world is an ever-changing place and one of the keys to true happiness is learning to find a sense of peace from within. Practicing mindfulness teaches us how to be with ourselves, which is far too lacking in this day of nearly constant distraction.

This is especially true for pre-teens and teens, who are more connected to technology than ever before and yet are facing increasing demands and higher levels of stress.

.b  (pronounced DOT-BE) stands for "STOP, BREATHE & BE". This simple mindfulness practice provides the kernel for an 8 session group course specifically designed to expose pre-teens and teens to the world of mindfulness. The program is secular, dynamic, and transformational.
